Rebooting Prefabrication for a Stronger Future

We’re excited to announce the reboot of our Electrical Prefabrication initiative, a key step in expanding how we deliver consistent quality, efficiency, and innovation across all our business units. Prefabrication has always been part of what sets us apart, and as we continue to grow, it’s time to take it to the next level.

Our existing prefab area at the shop has served as a foundation for our success, producing assemblies, components, and control panels that help our field teams work smarter and safer. But the demand for prefab support continues to grow, and we’re answering that call. Construction is already underway on a new facility designed with future expansion in mind — a larger, more efficient workspace equipped to handle the next generation of electrical prefabrication.

This reboot is about more than just space — it’s about vision. Our goal is to streamline installation, reduce jobsite congestion, and increase productivity for every team in the field. Prefab allows us to bring consistency and quality control into a controlled environment, giving our electricians more time to focus on critical field installations while reducing rework and waste.

In addition to traditional assemblies, our prefab team also builds and wires control panels, supporting both construction and service needs across our projects. This in-house capability allows us to deliver faster turnaround times, better quality assurance, and more flexibility for our customers.

As we ramp up, collaboration will be key. We’ll be reaching out to project managers, foremen, and field leaders to identify opportunities where prefabrication can add the most value. Your input will help shape how this program grows and adapts to meet project needs across the company.

This is an exciting time for our electrical teams and for the future of our company. By investing in prefab today, we’re building the foundation for tomorrow — a smarter, safer, and more efficient way to deliver the quality work our customers expect.

Stay tuned for updates as our new prefab facility takes shape and we continue expanding our capabilities company-wide.
